Currently in Romania, she was having a good time before an earthquake struck the European country! We found out that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 hit Nereju, eastern Romania. The tremors of the same were felt far away, in the capital, Bucharest as well as nearby countries, Buglaria, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine. The earthquake occured at 2:11 a.m. (local time on Saturday) and was centered about 5.7 kilometers (3.6 miles) northwest of Nereju in Vrancea County and about 46 kilometers (28 mi) west of Focşani and 146 kilometers (90 mi) north of Bucharest.
It struck at a relatively deep depth of 88 kilometers (54 mi). No danger or casualty has been reported. However, Iulia shared a horrifying video on her Instagram where you can see the chandelier on top moving rapidly. If just by seeing the lights shake, we were shaken here, think of the terror the citizens in Romania went through at the time of the earthquake. Luckily, there aren’t any casualties as the magnitude wasn’t that high. But it still is quite alarming and has left everyone wondering if it might reoccur.
