Nargis Fakhri may have made her entrance into Bollywood with Rockstar, but she had faced the camera way before that. The actress had auditioned for America's Next Top Model in 2004.
In a video of the audition that has now gone viral, the American born model-turned-actress looks terribly nervous.
Fakhri seems to have learnt her lines by heart but is unable to recall them and is seen fumbling through them all through.
She says that she doesn't have a favourite model or a least favourite model and for her modelling is just 'a job'.
Unable to give a fitting response to their question of what inspires her to be a model, she only responds, "I do not know how to redeem myself."
Despite the lack of confidence, Fakhri was appreciated by the judges for her figure.
Show creator and host, Tyra Banks says, "I loved her body." The then 24-year-old Fakhri did not make it to the finals of the reality show.
She reveals that this was her second time on the show as she had participated earlier and had made it up to the semi finals.
Nargis was last seen in Banjo opposite Riteish Deshmukh.
