What’s more difficult than bringing a baby into the world? Naming the baby. And that’s exactly what Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan must be stressing about right now.
However, Kareena has said in an interview to Kamal Sidhu on her new show, Vogue BFFs that Saif has actually asked her to name their kid ‘Saifeena’!
She said, “Saif keeps making fun. He says ‘Yeah, we’ll name our child Saifeena.’”
The couple became popularly known as ‘Saifeena’ when they first started dating in 2008. The portmanteau was coined by the media, taking from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s ‘Brangelina’.
It is also a trend among celebs to name their kids in a similar fashion. Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherjee named their daughter Adira, and more recently, Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor named their daughter Misha. So of course, everyone is wondering if Saif and Kareena will also follow the trend.
Kareena was joined by her friend and designer Manish Malhotra for the interview. Sidhu also asked about her pregnancy cravings and how Saif’s behaviour towards her has changed now that she is pregnant.
On the work front, Kareena will next be seen in Veere Di Wedding along with Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar.
