MUMBAI — Refuting rumors that her pregnancy has stalled the film “Veere Di Wedding” or that she may not shoot for the film at all, Kareena Kapoor Khan told a Mumbai tabloid that she will shoot for a couple of days in mid-October and then complete it after her delivery.
“We are still working out when to start shooting,” the actress told the tabloid.
Sonam Kapoor, whose sister, Rhea Kapoor, is producing the film, and Khan have known each other since childhood, as their families are also related to each other. Swara Bhaskar and new find Shikha Talsania comprise the rest of the cast in the all-girls film.
Rumors that the film will feature Khan as a pregnant character and also that the film was not getting any financial backing have been circulating too. The film is being directed by Shashanka Ghosh, who had last helmed “Khoobsurat” for Rhea and Sonam Kapoor.
