MUMBAI — Kajol’s fans, who have been waiting for her to join social media, now have some good news: The actress will be joining Facebook Sept. 23. Kajol will be visiting the San Francisco Facebook office along with husband Ajay Devgn and plans to join the site after joining Twitter a while ago.
The couple is currently in the U.S. to promote Devgn’s next directorial venture, “Shivaay,” and has visited New York, Chicago and Dallas. San Francisco will be their last destination where they will be visiting the Facebook office.
Kajol is extremely excited about joining Facebook and will thus connect with her fans all over the world. All this while, the actress’ fan clubs were actively participating and posting news and pictures on behalf of the actress, but, now, her fans will be able to get firsthand information directly through the actress.
Kajol is the second major star to join Facebook in recent weeks after Katrina Kaif, who has not joined Twitter, as she finds Facebook more personal. And this news comes in the wake of another ‘K’ star, Kareena Kapoor Khan, stressing that she will not join any social network, as she prefers to spend her time on more fruitful and personal things.
